What customers say?

“ Pilots strawberry matcha latte was pretty good! Just make sure you stir before you drink. Service could be improved - very slow and staff weren’t the nicest. ”

“ This morning on my way to the office, I had my heart set on grabbing a muffin from Pilot for breakfast. I could’ve sworn the old recipe had carrot, oats, and pumpkin in it—so when I didn’t see any pumpkin today, I froze for a second. Ended up switching things up and getting a scone instead, since it’s been a while. I had a feeling they gave me the wrong one, and yep—got to the office and saw it was loaded with a thick layer of icing on top. I basically had to hack off the entire top, and it felt like I lost a third of it in the process. The inside still tasted pretty good, but man, what a waste. Their coffee is ok but a bit overrated… ”

“ Been to pilot a few times because it is in the path. I always used to come for the pear cider and I am really sad that that is gone, I wish some of their staples stayed on the menu. This summer I’ve been really into matcha and tried their mango sticky rice matcha which was creative and the strawberry matcha. I quite liked the mango sticky rice one although I couldn’t quite taste the sticky rice (coconut / condense milk flavouring) but the mango comes out quite nicely. I thought the strawberry one was fairly tasty too. My only small issue is there is way too much ice in the drink. ”

“ Pilot is a solid option for a half decent coffee. As a coffee snob this place won't blow you away, but as long as I'm not paying $7 for a milk coffee, this will meet reasonable expectations. At this particular location, today they had incredibly quick, efficient service at 9:35am on a Monday morning. The counter staff are polite without creating undue expectation (I'm of the belief that if you're too friendly, my coffee won't be as good). Seating is limited so it might not be my go to spot for client meetings, but as a spot on the Concourse it offers a short reprieve from the bustle without fully disconnecting from the fray. ”

“ 2020.09.18. Started our journey with a walk to "Pilot Coffee Roasters" at First Canadian Place. Great coffee and tastes very good. I had a hot Americano. My regular. It is becoming our stop before picking up our car rental. 2020.09.04. Started the birthday special day with a coffee at "Pilot Coffee" at TD centre. Great coffee. I had my regular hot Americano. A scone to go. Definitely a must visit place. ”

“ A beautifully designed Pilot Coffee Roasters location right in the middle of the PATH. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their coffee and espresso based drinks. Always very quick and pleasant service. I typically order the brewed coffee which has quickly become one of my favourites in downtown Toronto. Recently they have been winning awards for "Best Coffee Roasters" (Toronto Life, 2022) and you can tell why after drinking their product. The coffee is well balanced and not overly bitter or acidic. There is seating in this location, and you can either sit at the bar/high rise table looking out into the PATH or at a small table. As this is a bigger location you're able to buy a wide array of packaged coffee (whole beans) and even coffee peripherals (cups, thermos, brewing devices, filters). Of note, their branded cups and thermoses are of really high quality (made by Miir) and look really snazzy as well. Very convenient to visit this location and order through the app! Always ready just as I arrive from my office. ”

“ If I were rating based on coffee alone, it’d be a 3 out of 5 for me. If I include the quiet space and relaxed vibe, maybe a 4. Overall, a decent spot if you want somewhere low-key, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way for. ”

“ I pass by here almost a few times a month going to work, and I stopped by today to grab coffee. I got a large coffee for 4 dollars and something tips included. Coffee was really fresh and smelled nice. However, its arguably overpriced for a large regular coffee. This place is a take out and they have few high chairs for sitting, however they also leave it to you to tip as they pass over their payment machin in a way that you must tip. Im a fan of tipping and I always do so however for a grab and go coffee place its a bit over the top. Except this, I liked the coffee and service. Counter lady was super warm and friendly. The service was also super fast considering the morning rush at this location. They offer a wide range of hot and cold drinks, bakery items and also quick sandwiches. There is a few high chairs to sit and you can have the options for milk, cream and oat for your coffee mix. ”
